
VISION X
A competition for students in classes X-XII to build SaaS-based startups designed to benefit students. Teams will develop a working Minimum Viable Product (MVP), address real student issues (academic, personal, productivity, mental health, etc.), and pitch their startup focusing on impact, scalability, and innovation.

Video Presentation: 5 minutes (maximum)
Rules & Regulations
Teams must build a SaaS-based startup designed to benefit students as the primary users.
The aim is to develop a working Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that showcases key features and value.
Projects should address real student issues — academic, personal, productivity, mental health, or similar.
Use of AI tools and no-code/low-code platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, etc., is allowed.
Teams are encouraged to conduct market research, get early users, or build public interest.
Final submissions must include an MVP demo, business pitch, and marketing strategy overview.
Teams will pitch their startup in a video format, focusing on impact, scalability, and innovation.
All ideas and submissions will be treated as confidential unless written permission is given.
The judges' decision is final, and no appeals or objections will be considered.

Submission Protocol
Create a Google Drive folder titled: “[SchoolName]_[TeamName]_VisionX”
Upload the following to the folder:
- Pitch Video (max 5 minutes, .mp4 recommended)
- Presentation File (.PPT or .PDF)
- MVP/Demo Link (include in a text or slide file)
Ensure the folder is accessible via view-only link and submit it as instructed.

Judgment Criteria

Innovation & Originality | 20% | Evaluation of the uniqueness and novelty of the SaaS idea and its approach to solving the identified student problem. |
Feasibility & Execution | 10% | Evaluation of the practicality of the solution, the quality of the MVP, and the demonstration of the team's ability to execute the idea. |
Effective Use of AI Tools | 10% | Evaluation of how effectively AI tools or no-code/low-code platforms were utilized in the development or concept of the solution. |
Revenue Potential | 20% | Evaluation of the potential for the SaaS product to be commercially viable and generate revenue. |
Presentation Quality | 20% | Evaluation of the clarity, structure, persuasiveness, and overall quality of the pitch video and presentation. |
Market Readiness | 20% | Evaluation of the understanding of the target market, the potential for market adoption, and the initial steps taken towards market engagement (if any). |
