Titan Clash

An electrifying offline competition where teams pit their custom-built sumo bots against each other in a 1.2m diameter ring. The objective is simple: push your opponent out to claim victory in a best-of-three format.

General Guidelines

  • Registration Closes: 1 July 2025

  • Mode of Conduct: Offline

  • Eligible Classes: X - XII

  • Team Size: 1-2 Students

  • Maximum Teams Per School: 1

Rules & Regulations

  • Matches will follow a Best of 3 rounds format.

  • Bots will be placed 180° apart at the start of each round.

  • A round is won when one bot successfully pushes the opponent completely out of the 1.2m diameter ring (marked by a white boundary line).

  • Re-entry into the ring is not allowed once a bot has exited.

  • Bots that remain inactive (show no controlled movement) for more than 10 consecutive seconds will automatically forfeit the current round.

  • Intentional wire entanglement (if applicable) or any other form of unfair physical interference with the opponent's bot or operator will lead to immediate disqualification from the event.

  • Use of pre-assembled, off-the-shelf complete kits is strictly prohibited. Bots must be built using universal robotic kits (e.g., Avishkaar, LEGO EV3, Arduino with custom chassis and components) or from scratch.

Bot Specifications

  • Bot Type: Manually operated Sumo Bots (can be wired or wireless).

  • Maximum Dimensions: 40cm (Length) x 40cm (Width). Height is not restricted but must be practical for sumo.

  • Maximum Weight: 2 kg.

Arena Specifications

  • Arena Size: 1.2 meters diameter circular ring.

  • The boundary will be clearly marked (e.g., a white line).

Technical Checks

  • All bots will undergo a technical inspection before the competition begins.

  • Bots will be weighed using a standard scale and measured to ensure they comply with the specified dimensions and weight limits.

  • Bots failing the technical check must be modified to meet specifications before they are allowed to compete. If modifications cannot be made in time, the team may be disqualified.

Submission Protocol

  • This is an offline event. No online submission of projects is required prior to the event day.

  • Registration:

    • Ensure registration is completed by 1 July 2025.
